Photography portfolios often compete for attention through visual excess—large image grids, elaborate animations, and dense navigation. The challenge was to create an experience that celebrates the photographs without competing against them, encouraging visitors to pause rather than simply scroll.

Approach

Drawing inspiration from editorial publications, Scandinavian restraint, and gallery exhibition design, the interface favors generous whitespace, refined typography, and a warm, understated palette. Every design decision aims to reduce distraction while allowing the imagery to establish both mood and narrative.
